Restaurant chez David in Saarbrucken

So far, we have never been disappointed, whether with possible restaurant visits or now with "take-away". This week we enjoyed the pork cheeks and the duck leg confit. Thank you for continuing with the concept during this time.

Thanks, it was delicious as always, David! We ate our way through the entire oriental menu in all its variations. From vegan to vegetarian to organic lamb. Great value for money. The portions are generous. Keep it up!

If you plan on eating something today, do not order here. We ordered a menu days in advance that never came. They indicated a 3-hour (!) window for the food to arrive at our door (6 to 9 PM), then arrived in the middle of the day instead for some reason. We happened to be home anyway, but then they didn't even manage to ring the right door bell. At that point, they could've called us had they bothered to write down the number we gave them. When we asked what was going on, they said they had nothing left to deliver us. Unbelievably incompetent, atrocious service.

The food was absolutely great! The price really cheap, the ambience and the service a bit improvised, but I thought that made the charm of the whole. We would like to come again!

It was once again outstanding! Really good homemade dishes. Everything from the area.

The food was ok as always. There is still work to be done on the waiting time. The same applies to the operation, at least if it is not the "boss". Keep it up

Comfortable ambience, friendly service staff and the prices are appropriate for the quality. I ate there as a starter the hottest frog legs of my life with an excellent gray Burgundy. Unfortunately, my husband was less fortunate but the complaint was exchanged directly, without words! I would love to go there for dinner anytime! Sympathetic and authentic chef with a fancy and appealing menu! Keep it up !!!

Food very good Staff very friendly and nice and accommodating. Restaurant is very cozy.

We arrived late. That is: on Sunday normality closes the kitchen at 8 a.m. and we arrive at a quarter past 8. After almost 11 hours of driving we threatened to go into the evening with an empty stomach. However, the chef decided to make a schnitzel, salad and French fries for us and we knew that. Delicious and of a format that you could only dream of. In addition, a very friendly service. We felt enormously welcome. Chez David is highly recommended. And the schnitzels are very popular in the wider area, we were told. And we can imagine that!

A pity, I had hoped for more. The food was ok and the price was ok too. What does not work is an operator who wants to explain to me where my fries have to stand. Even a piqued answer to the question of what is special about the schnitzel (it is a normal Wiener Schnitzel, by the way) is really wrong ...
